Sleepaway Camp

Tomorrow after work, my husband and I (and Ginger too) will embark on a camping trip to the quiet town of Rodanthe, NC to celebrate two of the happiest years of our lives. It is so hard to believe that we have already been married for two years and that we have been together for 7. We are truly each other's best friends and I can't imagine my life without this wonderful man.

We are hoping for warm weather, lots of sunshine and waves suitable for both of our surfing styles. Jeff has built a rack to go on my bike that holds my surfboard so we can ride from town to town on Hatteras Island.

This time two years ago we were counting down to our wedding day and anticipating our glorious honeymoon in Santa Teresa and Playa Grande, Costa Rica. If we have half the waves and views they have in CR, then we are in for a good time.

I am looking forward to no hair dryer and minimal makeup while sitting outside listening to summer tunes and smelling the grill. See you all on Tuesday. Happy Memorial Day.
