In the four years we have lived in Richmond, Marshall and Kathy have been to visit us several times, but never for an entire weekend. We were so excited when they came to town to just hang out with us all weekend long a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it was the HOTTEST weekend of the summer with temps reaching 106. We had planned to do lots of activities outside, but with the record heat, we changed our plans.
Friday night brought us to a new seafood restaurant in Oregon Hill-Pescados. SOOO GOOD! We have since been back and it is one of our new favorite restaurants. On Saturday morning, we headed to Millie's for brunch-also delicious. We spent the afternoon looking through photos from the past year and picking some out or Marshall's Richmond office. On Saturday evening, Marshall and Kathy had a wedding to go to and I left to go visit with my girls.
Sunday brought us to Black Sheep for brunch. Guess what-it was delicious. We spent the rest of the afternoon at the movies and went to see Salt. It was very exciting and suspenseful
Marshall and Kathy-thanks for spending the weekend with us. We can't wait to do it again soon when it is not so hot!!
