At the last minute, Erin, Matt, Jeff and I decided to drive down to Blacksburg on Saturday morning for the Tech vs. JMU game. Jeff had one job in the early morning hours on Saturday: check the weather and tell me what to bring. His answer was warm and sunny. So we left the house minus all rain gear. FAIL.
We arrived in Blacksburg to cloudy skies and within 5 minutes of being there, it started to sprinkle. We didn't let it stop us at first. Lucky us-Wyndi is always prepared and had a rain coat and an umbrella in her car so Erin had grabbed those before we left They certainly came in handy. We had the world's lamest most awesome tailgate that consisted of weird Kroger sandwiches, a rolly cooler of Coors Lights and ourselves. We wandered around the parking lot, stopped to get a new drink and a bite of sandwich and moved on. When it was time for the game, Jeff hid the cooler somewhere and we went inside the stadium.
It then started to POUR. Ed and I latest one quarter before we moved on to the bookstore for some unnecessary purchases and then on to TOTS for big beers and hysterical laughter at all the wasted youngsters. It wasn't until we heard the JMU fans going bezerk that we realized we lost. Holy shit. Really? At that point we determined it was comical and hoped the boys thought the same. Lucky for us they did. We pigged out at Sycamore Deli and hit the road back to Richmond.
Ed and Matt left in the morning but we had so much fun being immature with them. Come back soon!

Love this post. So funny and sounds like it was actually a LOT of fun. Love you guys (oh and did you notice that there was a "The Jeffy" sandwich, also?)
