While I was enjoying Mandel family time, Jeff was down in Suffolk enjoying time with his family. On Saturday night he went on a fishing excursion with Scott and some of Scott's neighbors. I woke up on Sunday morning to a text from Jeff saying, "We caught a 21 inch stripper." I laughed out loud. Of course he meant striper aka rockfish.
So on Monday night, when I arrived home, we looked up a recipe for rockfish and made one from Emeril Lagassi. It was reallly good.
