We joined Hanover's Victory Farms CSA this week and bought our first bunch of fresh veggies this week at the Byrd House Market in Oregon Hill. We picked out asian turnips, radishes, some sort of vegetable that starts with an RH, a lettuce head, and some onions. We have had the most awesome salads since then and made a really awesome pizza with trader joes fresh pizza dough (it is the BEST and only .99), turkey meatballs cut up, goat cheese, radishes, turnips and onions. It was better than a lot of pizza I have had out.
I'm excited for what we get next.
