As of Thursday evening, our only Halloween plans were to head down to Suffolk to Scott & Amy's neighborhood Halloween party. But the plans grew during a visit to Jenny and Doug's house to help them carve their pumpkin. We decided to check out the scene in the Fan on Hanover Ave. We heard the houses down there go all out on Halloween decorations so we wanted to see for ourselves. We also decided we needed to dress up for the occasion. Since it was last minute none of us had much time to be creative so Jeff and I were construction workers, Jenny was Holly (from Girls Next Door), Lizzy was a mysterious masked woman and Dan was a monk. When we got to Hanover, we were not disappointed. The decorations on the houses were so creative and extravagant. Some of my favorites are below. Jeff's favorite was the Batman house and my favorite was he Blood Curdling Kitchen.
After our tour of Halloween Homes, we headed to Metro for a couple of drinks and costume watching. Lizzy and Dan left after Metro and Jenny, Jeff and I headed on to Banditos to check out more costumes and dance the night away. On he way to Banditos we spotted the most disturbing/hilarious pickup truck. The amount of beer bottles, cans and cases was unbelievable and it was only fitting that there was a God Bless America sticker on the window. 
Banditos was so much fun. Jenny and I quickly made our way to the DJ booth while Jeff got us drinks and we proceeded to dance for the rest of the night to the best 80s songs. My favorite Banditos costume was Bernie from Weekend at Bernies and there was also a Borat in the crowd wearing the green thong bathing suit. YIKES!
