Pig, Pink and Punch

On Saturday we woke up a little late due to antics from the night before and then we got ready for our trip to Suffolk. At 3 we went to Jeff’s high school friends Paul and Amy’s house for a cookout. They were hosting a pig pickin at their new house right on the river. They had been cooking the pig since very early in the morning and had hired a band to play into the night. We saw some people from Jeff’s high school he hadn’t seen in a long time and we feasted on the delicious pig. The image below is not fit for animal lovers but I had to post it!

Marshall and Kathy were also invited to the cookout and they were babysitting James so we were lucky to spend a little time with all three of them.

We left around 5pm so we could get back to Scott & Amy’s house to set up and get ready for the neighborhood party they were hosting. The party was an 80s theme which is always very fun!

We had such a good time at the party. The costumes were hilarious and their neighbors are all great people.
