On Wednesday afternoon I took Jeff to lunch at 3 Monkeys to celebrate his LEED achievement and then we were off on our Christmas Trek 2008. After we arrived in Suffolk we had a few cocktails before attending the Christmas Eve service at church. Afterwards it was home for more socializing, some traditional Christmas Eve grub and then into bed before Santa's arrival. Thursday morning was spent opening stockings and presents galore. James was naturally the center of attention as we all oohhed and ahhed over all of his new toys including one large roller coaster. Jeff and I received some great gift certificates and one that will allow us to have a nice mini ski trip this winter. Thanks to all for our fabulous gifts. The rest of the day was spent lounging about before the decision was made to go to a movie. Marley and Me, our first choice, was sold out so we settled on Seven Pounds...a very heavy yet good movie. Afterwards it was home for a delicious Christmas dinner prepared by Chef Kathy. The food coma we were left with put us all in bed shortly thereafter. Unfortunately on Friday morning Jeff and I had to hit the road early to brave 95 on our way to stop #2.
