On Sunday Danielle, Steve, Jenny, Doug, Jeff and I went apple picking at Carter Mountain Orchard near Monticello in Charlottesville. We picked four different types of apples and enjoyed lunch on the deck overlooking the valley. Now we plan to make apple pie, apple sauce and spiked apple cider. Happy Fall!
