Mom came down this weekend to visit us and to take Annie shopping etc. She arrived Thursday night and spent her days mostly with Annie and her nights with us. On Friday, they hit the mall for some shopping. On Friday night we went to dinner at Mama Zu's in Oregon Hill: delicious Italian food in a completely minimalist setting. BEST Tiramisu I have ever had.
On Saturday mom and Annie ran errands and then we got our nails done at Atir. We brought Annie by to see our new kitchen and then we did our best to make it to the Brunswick Stew Festival before it was over. Our attempts were unsuccessful. So we went to Legends Brewery for brewskis on the deck overlooking downtown Richmond followed by dinner at Balliceaux in the fan. Ballieceaux was outstanding! Such cool decor, delicious food and great cocktails. I may have a new favorite cocktail: a French 75.
Today we have a family fun day for my company. Pizza, crafts, outdoor games and more.
