Deck the Halls

We purchased our tree at the base of Wintergreen and it rode home safely in the bed of Jeff's truck. We spent Sunday afternoon and evening decorating our house inside and out and decorating our tree.

We have an annual tradition of exchanging tree ornaments. Usually we are both running out at the last minute in search of the perfect one, but this year we were both wayyy ahead of the game. We realized on Sunday we had both purchased our ornaments from the same little shop in Chamonix, France during our ski trip last year. They were both wrapped exactly the same.

I gave Jeff the mountain goat and he gave me the snowflake flower. They are both wooden and handmade and look perfect on the tree.

Christmas lights make me extremely happy.
