We rented two houses near each other and spent our days and nights hiking, lounging, cooking, beer tasting, game playing, laughing, eating and spending time with each other.
Our Top 10 Favorite Things About Thanksgiving This Year:
10. Our two impromptu stops at local breweries and our two new growlers
9. Snow and freezing temperatures on the day after Thanksgiving8. Laughing so hard about nonsense like small black chairs, the F word, hot tubs that are actually cold, my love for Chuck Norris jokes that shockingly no one else shares, etc.
7. Forgotten and spilled ingredients and all of the ones we managed to remember6. Little deer friends outside our window
5. Enjoying the great outdoors4. The Hokies beating UVA
3. Sleeping soundly every night...a rare occurrence for me these days (could it have something to do with mass food consumption?)
2. Cutting down our Christmas tree with the beautiful mountains as our backdrop
1 Spending time with my family, Jeff's family and Amy's family

This is an exceptionally great growler! We buy one at every local brewery we visit, and our collection has almost outgrown its display space! Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
