Since I would once again be celebrating my birthday at the Convention, Jeff took me out to dinner to my favorite atmosphere restaurant in Richmond. The food is just pretty good but the atmosphere and view are outstanding. The Boathouse is right on the river with a fantastic view of downtown Richmond and of the sunset. The inside opens to the outside so even if you are sitting inside, you can feel the breeze of the outdoors. It is always packed so we were lucky to snag a seat at the bar with a perfect view of the setting sun.
