Danielle and Steve Move to Charlottesville

Danielle and Steve moved to Charlottesville about a month and a half ago and we have been really excited to visit them and see their new house.  We headed out to see them on Sunday afternoon with plans to beer and wine taste and then hang out in their new place.  

We visited Blue Mountain Brewery first for lunch and some beer tasting.  Jeff and I had made an impromptu visit to Blue Mountain on our way up to Wintergreen for Thanksgiving this year and we purchased a growler.  We were excited to go back to Blue Mountain so we could fill the growler back up and sample their food.  We had a delicious pizza lunch and then headed out to Cardinal Point winery first and then on to Veritas.  Cardinal Point was good but Veritas was great.  We all joined the Veritas wine club and we are looking forward to our quarterly shipments of delicious wine.

When we got back to the house, Danielle suggested we watch Avatar.  Neither Jeff nor I had seen it and probably never would have if Danielle hadn't strongly urged us to give in.  We were glad she made the suggestion.  The movie was very entertaining.  

After a great dinner accompanied by some of the wine we purchased, we had to unfortunately hit the hay so we could get up early enough for me to drive back to Richmond for work in the am.  

It was so fun seeing Danielle and Steve's new place and hanging out with our good friends.  Lucky for all of us, they are only 1 hour away and Charlottesville has lots of unexplored areas for us to find.

Thanks for having us guys!  We can't wait to do it again!
