Happy Birthday Matthew Chase Fleming

I have been the worst summer blogger.  I think its the hot ass temperatures and long work days that bring me home to the couch, Love in the Wild, the Bachelorette, Swamp People, Platinum Hit and countless other brain frying tv shows.  Not to worry-on weekday evenings I DO occasionally venture outside with Jeff and Ginger for a stroll around the 'hood or to a Junior League new member event, or to a book club outing but for the most part weekday evenings are reserved for home.  This is also because we are gone every.single.weekend.

One of said weekends carried with it a very important occasion: Matthew Chase Fleming's second birthday.  He frolicked around in the heat with the animals from a traveling petting zoo, some delicious bites prepared by Amy and some great barnyard decor.  I'm not gonna lie-children's parties overwhelm me so I was content inside perched in my seat and watching other little ones when necessary.  

Chase seemed happy as can be as did the rest of the tots running around and Amy thew a fantastic partay.  Happy Birthday little Chase man.  We love you.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any photos of the birthday boy (see overwhelmed feeling at children's birthday parties) but did snap Jenna on her pony ride.  

My favorite part of the party is when Dogg accidentally fed the potbelly pig a bowl full of grape Propel water.
