Since we are gone almost every weekend out of the year, we really take advantage of the end of January/most of February. We have been home almost every weekend for the past four weeks. It's amazing. We sleep in in our own bed, we get an insane amount of stuff done around the house, we pay lots of attention to our sweet Ginger. And we go out once or twice. Last weekend we hung out with Jenny, Doug and Drew. It had been a few months since we'd seen them, a few weekends before that, we went out to dinner at Water Grill with Cortney and Clayton and then to Blowtoad to taste their food for free before they were officially open. And last night we played two holes of bar golf for my coworker Kathryn's birthday.

Some of the home improvement projects:
We purchased four new light fixtures for about $50 at the Decorating Outlet in Midlothian. Two were $10, one was $5 and the other was about $25. Amazing.
We blew up some of our favorite photos and hung them in our stairwell.
We took down our ugly mirror in our master bathroom and replaced it with two framed mirrors we found hidden in Home Depot for $29 each.

Jeff sanded down and painted an old dresser for the green room. Anyone who stays in the Fleming B&B knows the green room.
