On Sunday Jeff and I drove up to Haymarket, VA to Krysta and Ryan's house for me to attend Quinn's baby shower and for Jeff to play golf with all the hubbies. Krysta did such a good job with the shower. The colors were green and purple and she found the cutest tablecloth, napkins and plates with pregnant women and mommies and babies on them. We played two games. In the first one, Krysta took some newborn diapers and melted different types of candy bars in them. Then we had to pass the diapers around the room, smell them, and guess which type of candy bar was in each diaper. Unfortunately I had woken up with a fresh cold and I was not able to smell very well. But Andi was and she won the game!! 
For the second game, Krysta had asked each of us to send her a baby photo of ourselves. She then placed them on a baby gate (gift to Quinn) and numbered each one. We then had to guess who was who. To throw us off even further, Krysta placed baby photos of several members of the Kennedy family (because Quinn is naming her little girl Kennedy). Chambo and Jenny won this game.
Quinn and Kennedy got lots of great gifts. It was so much fun to catch up with everyone and we are all ubelievably excited for Quinn and Dave and cannot wait to meet little miss Kennedy. Quinn's due date is October 4 but I have a feeling she will arrive sooner.
