New Moon

Months ago Lizzy put together a girls night out for our book club to see New Moon. Considering our book club was founded on the Twilight series, it was appropriate that the first group outing involved ogling shirtless werewolves and vampires.

My movie ticket has been lying safe and sound on my printer in my office at work for weeks so it wouldn't get lost in the shuffle. One of the other girls admitted she was keeping her ticket safe in the same box as her passport, birth certificate and marriage license. Love it.

Our dinner discussion centered on whether we were Team Jacob or Team Edward and arguing the merits of both sides. As we made our way through hibachi vegetables and sushi, our excitement grew.

We arrived at the theatre at 8:30 for our 10:00pm showing and a line had already formed to get good seats. Police were patrolling the lobby of the theatre ensure there was no Twihard mayhem.

The movie was awesome and made me even more excited for the next two. I must admit Jacob made a good case for his side, but my loyalty will remain with Edward.
