Fleming Fun: Beautiful Family Fun

On Friday night Mom came into town for a little visit for the weekend to see Annie for her birthday. Of course she was here to hang with us too. We went to dinner in Carytown at Water Grill for delicious cocktails and seafood and we finished off our meal at DeLuca Gelato for some authentic Italian treats. Delicious. When we got home we settled in to watch Up in the Air with Clooney and some other Oscar nominated actors.

Friday night was a somewhat sleepless night for me for whatever reason so mom walked to Einsteins in the morning and brought us all bagels (including one for Ginger). Thanks, mom! We hung out on the deck in the sunshine sipping our coffee and chatting while we waited for Uncle Will to arrive on the red eye from Seattle. He joined us for some backyard chatter before we all motivated for lunch and limeades at Phil's Continental Lounge. We learned that mom used to frequent Phil's during her high school years where she would drink beers and eat plates of pickles. Just FYI-I get my weirdness from her.

After stopping in to get a gift for a sweet little niece named Jenna, we headed home so Jeff and I could get on the road to Suffolk to hang with Scott, Amy and Chase for the night and so Jeff could help Scott build a gate for their deck. It was so much fun hanging out with little Chase. He has grown so much since we last saw him. And of course we had fun seeing Scott, Amy, Marshall and Kathy too!

Sunday morning was sweet Jenna's baptism. She was adorable in her big white dress and sassy personality. James is talking up a storm and we loved hearing him call us Aunt Courtney and Uncle Jeff.
