This past weekend we were back down in Suffolk for Chase's birthday and baptism. We stayed with Courtney and Paul again and are so appreciative of their fantastic hospitality!
We woke up on Saturday morning and the guys took another trip to the bait shop while Courtney and I watched Bethenny getting married? Best show. When the guys returned, Jeff and I took Ginger out on her first boat ride. She started off uneasy but ended up LOVING it. She went for a swim and mistakenly thought the crab pot buoys were a retrievable toy. After we repeatedly calling her back to the boat, she finally came. She officially loves the Robalo.
We returned to Paul and Courtney's to get ready for Chase's 1st birthday party. It was an under the sea theme and Amy did a great job putting together the party and the decor was adorable. We lounged for the rest of the afternoon and met the rest of the family again over at Marshall & Kathy's for dinner.
Sunday morning we were up bright and early for Chase's Baptism and the brunch following at Scott & Amy's. Kathy watched the kids afterwards so Jeff, Paul, Courtney and I could go on another flounder fishing excursion on the boat.
It was a beautiful afternoon even though we didn't catch a thing. It was a great weekend celebrating sweet Chase. Can't wait to see everyone again soon!
