Just before Chase's birthday weekend, Rene and Julian came to town for Julian's opening at The Page Bond Gallery. Although they were very busy while here, it was great to be able to spend some time with them. We enjoyed two dinners out with them during their visit. The first was with Annie at Grapevine and the second was at Balliceaux right before the opening. We enjoyed hearing about their recent visit to New Mexico and sharing our boat news. But one of the most exciting parts of their visit was that Rene booked a solo show at Art Works meaning they will return to Richmond for another visit in the fall. We love it when you guys come to town and you know you are welcome anytime!
After the opening, we went to Six Burner and sat at the bar for a drink and dessert. Jeff wanted to try a different drink than usual so he asked the bartender to make him something new. As a result, we have found a new favorite drink. St Germaine and soda. So good, sweet, and summery. We took a trip to the ABC store not long after that night for a bottle of St. Germaine and we have finished almost half of it already. Oops.
