A Visit to Philadelphia

It had been ages since we had been to Philly so we decided mom's birthday weekend would be the perfect occasion.  We packed up our bags and my baby bump and headed north.  On Friday, mom and dad had the usual snack and drink spread out for us and we caught up for several hours before settling in for the night.

In the morning, mom and I went on a walk and got coffee while we waited for Ashley, Claire and Jason to arrive.  We then spent the day sightseeing around Philly on the double decker bus.  Claire adores double decker buses and it really was fun playing tourist for the day.

On Saturday night we dined at home and on Sunday morning we went for brunch to celebrate Mom's birthday.

On our way home, we stopped with everyone at the nearest apple picking orchard and watched while Claire explored the petting zoo.

Was a great weekend celebrating a great mom.
